Thank you for your interest in attending the Arthur C. Luf Children's
Burn Camp. The 2007 camp will be held from 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 15th through
10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 22nd. Please complete the enclosed application and send
it to the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation, The Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn
Camp, 601 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT 06460. The deadline for receipt of your
completed application is Friday, April 7, 2007.
Please note the
following:
1. Only children burn survivors whose birthday, by
the date of the camp, falls between the ages of 8 and 18 are eligible to
attend.
2. All children attend free of charge.
3.
Transportation is not provided. It is up to the parents/guardians to get their
child to and from camp. We have been fortunate in the past to be able to
provide buses from Boston and New York.
4. Your doctor must complete
and sign the state required Youth Camp Health Exam Record and fill out the
health history. Application to attend camp will not be accepted unless this is
totally completed and signed.
5. We reserve the right to reject any
child from the camp for disciplinary problems, emotional issues, or medical
problems that would affect the child's camping experience.
