The Grainger Foundation Supports Children’s Burn Camp

The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation located in Lake Forest, Illinois, has donated $5,000 to the CT Burns Care Foundation in support of its Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp.

“This grant will be used to support the Children’s Burn Camp in 2017,” said Armand Cantafio, president of the CT Burns Care Foundation Board of Directors.  “We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity.”

Cantafio added that it welcomed the support of the Grainger Foundation to help underwrite the Children’s Burn Camp.

This donation was recommended by Karen Archambault, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.’s, Hartford location.  Grainger has been a part of the Hartford business community for many years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating products.  “We are proud to recommend the programs offered by The CT Burns Care Foundation,” said Archambault. “We understand the need for helping young burn survivors.”
