The Knights of York Battling for Burn Survivors
NEW YORK - The Knights of York, based in Manhattan, celebrated the holiday season by presenting the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp with a $10,000 donation November 15th at Aleo Restaurant in New York City.

Peter Rotundi, owner of Aleo and a Knight of York, provided refreshments, hors d'ouevres and a buffet dinner for the event that also collected toys for Toys for Tots.

A philanthropic group of businessmen dedicated to helping charities that serve children, the Knights of York hosted a golf tournament September 24th at Pelham Country Club in Pelham, NY to raise funds for the Burn Camp.

Thirty-eight foursomes took on the challenging narrow fairways of Pelham CC and enjoyed a fun day of golf and dinner and refreshments. Declan Connolly, a member of the Knights of York, chaired the golf tournament committee and thanked the audience for supporting the mission of the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation.

"While you enjoyed a great day of golf and camaraderie, you helped raised funds for a very worthwhile cause, the Children's Burn Camp," Connolly said. "I visited the Camp this summer and was very impressed with the great work that this organization and all the volunteers are doing for these kids. We're delighted to help children burn survivors."
