Thank you to the CBCF 2023 Benefactor of the Year: Blue Goose International!
The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International is a charitable organization of individuals who work for and service the insurance industry. The Blue Goose was founded in 1906 in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The members are called Ganders, and the chapters are called Ponds. There are Ponds located throughout the United States and Canada. The focus is on Character, Charity and Fellowship. The Hartford Pond was founded in 1954, and meets monthly throughout locations in Connecticut, and focuses on charity in the form of volunteer hours, collecting goods and items, as well as financial support to deserving organizations.
The Hartford Pond has developed a strong relationship with the CT Burns Care Foundation and the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp. Ganders have toured the camp, volunteered at the camp facilities, and have provided monetary donations. Hartford Pond Ganders look forward to our largest Annual fundraising event in April, named the All Industry Event, where all the proceeds are directed to the CT Burns Care Foundation.
