I’m Adrian Ovalles, junior in high school born in Providence, Rhode Island, on March 11, 2008. I have a deep passion for basketball and gaming, and I love spending quality time with my family, especially during our cherished tradition of Friday scary movie nights.
Music plays a crucial role in my life; it’s the soundtrack to my happiest moments, like rocking out at concerts, as well as during tougher times, such as before a scary surgery. I also treasure vacations at my grandparents’ retirement house in the Dominican Republic, where we spend Christmas, and I connect with my heritage while enjoying the warm sun.
I have a very keen eye for fashion, I’m often recognized as one of the best dressed in any setting. Recently, I was chosen to lead a mentorship program for middle schoolers, focusing on mental health awareness and building meaningful connections. I thrive on being someone others can count on, always ready to lend a hand.
Whether I’m cheering on my basketball team, battling it out in video games, or showcasing my style, I value family, self-expression, and community service. With a passionate desire to make a difference, I dream of pursuing a career in social work or public speaking, where I can continue to inspire and support others.
