I started my professional firefighting career in 1988, working as a federal firefighter for the Submarine Base Fire Department in Groton, CT. In 1996, I moved to Montville Fire Department, Montville, CT, where I am presently working as a firefighter.
My wife, Jennifer and I, have been married 26 years. We live in Killingly, CT with our son Thomas.
I began my burn camp career in 2009. Victor Spinnato, introduced me to this camp, asking me to attend a work party. He convinced me to attend that year. After attending, I knew I wanted to be a part of this special camp. I began working as a member of the kitchen crew, eventually becoming the kitchen director. In 2021, I moved over to the logistics team.
I am amazed every year I have attended camp, the strength of our young hero’s. I am humbled to have been this year’s representative to the I.A.F.F. Burn Camp, and thank the CBCF and the staff of the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp for this honor.
